A brown sugar Caribbean gal by way of Barbados with a southern belle charm thanks to her Mississippi roots and a down to earth approach-ability inbred during her Midwest upbringings in the tiny town of Waterloo, Iowa, Eboni Berry began her love of all things glam at the tender age of 7 she has been in the hair business for 15 years and self-employed for 20 years.

The feisty youngster began building her client base by learning how to care for and style different lengths and textures; using her friends and family as her guinea pigs. At age 9 she and her parents relocated to California where she spread her wings in a variety of genres. After marrying her high school sweetheart and having her 1st child at 20, Eboni continued to pursue an education and earned a degree in Computer Business. While the fashion and beauty industry remained close to her heart where she dabbled in acting and modeling, she also found fulfillment in entertainment during a stint with Universal Music as Executive Assistant for Rap Promotions by day, attending showcases and release parties by night.

In search of new horizons, Eboni moved to Houston, Texas for 4 years in 2005 where she worked as an executive assistant. Despite enjoying a thriving career, she found that every professional instance led her back to her first love, hair.

Once she took a deep introspect of her life and true passions, she decided to head back to California and registered in cosmetology school in Lancaster in June of 2009 here she began to establish a solid ground as a hair technician. She completed school in November of 2010, and eagerly began work in a prominent Beverly Hills salon for 2 years. While still working at salon, Eboni would travel back to Waterloo quite frequently; she found that her hometown had a need for a better hair market and it was there she found her purpose. Berry seized the opportunity to build a rapport with clients who booked her solid when she came into town.

Berry became a traveling stylist, which led her along the journey to start her own business, Hair Divas Inc (HDI), her luxury human hair collection co-owned by one of her 1st clients Kim Phillips, owner of a local Iowa beauty supply store. Berry learned instruction from many great stylists and had a desire to follow suit and become better each day. She aspires to own and operate HDI Institutions globally, that teach beyond the basics of traditional hair schools, but the undying love and passion for the skill that became her destiny.
